Al-Nashiri Cole Bomber's Trial Delayed

Last week on December 19 we received word that Aba al-Rahim al-Nashiri was referred to the Military Commission. And that the case was referred as a capital offense which means if he is convicted that he can receive the death penalty. He is supposed to be arraigned with-in 30 days as the law provides. A trial date will not be set at that time, but the timeline for discovery, motions and oral arguments are likely to be set. I cannot see al-Nashiri getting the death penalty. I think we will be lucky if he even makes it to a Military Court. It still amazes me the level of support that him and his terrorist buddies are recieving from the liberals. It will be interesting to see just how Obama handles not only Al-Nashiri's case, but the rest of the terrorists cases as well. But it is a good first step after 8 long years. Its just a shame that he and his friends could not have been tried when the war was popular. Better late than never though I guess.

Obama and Guantanamo

Below is the letter that I sent to Senator Cornyn on 12-09-08. I am concerned that as President Obama will attempt to have not only the terrorists who are charged with the attack on the USS Cole, but that all the other terrorists who are charged with murdering other Americans tried in the American Judicial System. Anyone remember OJ. Simpson? OJ is only one example of numerous criminals who have been able to to get over on the courts. There is no end to the number of loop holes in our judicial system that a decent lawyer would be able to find and use to get the terrorists released as free men. The liberals know and understand this. Obama used this subject as one of his campaign promises to get the liberal vote. Will he really do it? Who knows. But I for one do not want to wait and see. Its encouraging to see that Fox News has picked this subject up, and has been talking about it at least every night now for at least three days. It was also refreshing to see that Fox actually reported on how President Saleh had released all the Cole bombers! And had released other terrorists that were returned to them as well. Some of these terrorists went right back to their old profession of killing innocent people again.

What Obama will do with the terrorists has become a battle between those who want the terrorists tried in the Military Commissions Court, where there is at least the possibility that they will be held accountable for the murders that they committed, and the real victims remembered. As opposed to our own court system where the terrorists will be portrayed as your stereotypical victims who have been set up by the American Government. The ACLU and liberals will have field day.

So ideally Obama will need a solution to appease his liberal base, and the rest of Americans. And would such a solution be realistic?

Dear Senator Cornyn,
Occidental Tower 5005 LBJ Freeway, Ste 1150 Dallas Tx 75244

First off, thank you again for all the work that you and your staff have done so far in obtaining a Judiciary Hearing next year regarding the attack on the USS Cole 67, and the corrupt regime of President Saleh of Yemen. This past year has seen positive changes related to the USS Cole Attack and the Dictator Saleh's brutal regime. We were told this past October by the VFW that they had been contracted for the next 20 years to provide Memorial Services for our son's grave at Fort Sam Houston Texas. Whoever helped in extending the Memorial Services for son and his mates needs to be recognized and has our gratitude and utmost respect and thanks.
We were also allowed to travel to Guantanamo Bay to witness and testify at the trial of the Al-Qaeda propagandist terrorist Al-Buhlul for his production of the recruitment video involving the attack on the USS Cole 67. And again we are grateful that we could be in the courtroom for the very first trial of one of the many terrorists related to the Cole attack over 8 years ago.
This leads directly into the other subject matter of this letter. We would like to know why, as the parents of a murdered sailor and as American citizens, why our government sees fit to release Bin Laden's driver Hamden back to Yemen, when President Saleh refuses to extradite the terrorists that were responsible for the attack in which our son was murdered. Instead he reduced their sentences, tried others on unrelated charges, and or gave them pardons.
Of great concern as well are the numerous news reports of how President Saleh of Yemen is systematically depriving his own people of food, water, shelter, and medical assistance. Human Rights Watch determined that the Yemeni regime's practices against its citizens rise to the level of collective punishment and are in violation of international law.
The Yemeni government also targets in particular those who disagree with his support of and use of Al-Qaeda to further his own agenda. The editor of al-Sahrie faces the death penalty for publishing reports that members of the jihaddist group, the Aden Abyan Islamic Army, trained Saleh's Salafi tribal paramilitary raised in the Sa'ada War and unleashed on Shiite civilians. Yet the Bush administration has released a known terrorist back to this regime that supports terrorism and deploys terrorists on a regular basis. It does not make any sense at all sir.
We want to commend you for taking a stand against those in our government who want Guantanamo Prison closed, and the terrorists either released and or tried here in America, where they would eventually be released. I think that your actions reflect the courage that it took for our military people to capture these terrorists to be tried for their crimes in the first place. It would be disrespectful of all the soldiers, sailors, marines, air force, and coast guard members who have fought and died to just release these terrorists to be freed, and or back to President Saleh where he would release them to fight with Al-Qaeda against our military again.

Thank you and your staff again for all your work.

The FBI Agent Who Tried To Solve the Cole Case

This post is written out of respect for FBI Agent John O’Neill who came so close to connecting all the dots in not only the attack on the USS Cole, but Al-Qaeda’s next attack which would be on 09/11/01. The attack in which he would be killed as well. How ironic, and how sad. Both the Cole attack and 9/11 were tragedies in so many ways. Both attacks are excellent examples of what can happen when you have presidents, politicians, and other government employees more worried about their own selfish interests and egos than the welfare and safety of the people and the country.

I was only able to talk with Agent O’Neill one time if memory serves me right. I do know that he kept in contact with another father who had lost a son in the Cole attack. I know that he answered my questions as best as he could at the time. I also know and feel that he really wanted to catch those responsible for the murder of our son and his 16 mates. But then again the other agents tried to answer my questions and concerns as well as they could under the circumstances. I also know that some of them were extremely frustrated at the lack of support that the Cole investigation had received. They were not just disgruntled employees as one politician referred to them as. And no I never gave out the names of those who wrote me, and or talked with me. I am more than sure that the politician who called them disgruntled changed his tune after the 9/11 attack as well.

When one reads how close O’Neill and his fellow agents came to actually discovering the pending attack on 9/11, it makes one sick. Especially when it was other Americans who stopped him from completing his investigation. Americans like President Clinton and Ambassador Bodine who if they had supported the FBI in Yemen after the Cole attack , that the 9/11 attack on America soil could have been prevented. And if only Bush had listened to the FBI while he had the chance too.

The what if’s are endless. But what we do know today is that FBI Agent O’Neill and some other FBI agents as well, knew that there were connections between the Embassy bombings and the Cole bombing. O’Neill also knew that it was Al-Qaeda’s work in the Cole attack and that members of Saleh government were involved in the attack, and interfering with the FBI investigation into the attack.

In reading about O’Neill’s FBI work in Yemen after the Cole attack one thing was obvious right off the bat, that regardless if the people were in the Justice Department, the State Department, and or the Defense Department most of them had one thing in common. They agreed that O’Neill and the FBI were doing the right thing in the investigation into the Cole attack, and wanting access to question members of President Saleh’s government, and family. And that O’Neill was holding the Yemenis feet to the fire. But there was at least one person who disagreed with O’Neill's methods and his requests, and the FBI mission as a whole. That person was Ambassador Bodine to Yemen.

I have tried extremely hard to understand why Bodine interfered with the FBI’s investigation. Everything I have read which is quite abit demonstrates that there was no logical reason for her to effectively hinder the investigation. Except one reason, her ego. All the people involved still shake their heads as to why she butted heads with O’Neill so much. What is know is that Bodine’s tenure as ambassador to Yemen would be up the following August. Some individuals speculate that the State Department, and Clinton only wanted her to finish her time out, and not to make a stink over her and O’Neill's disagreement in how to conduct the investigation. Just let her ride her time out so to speak, and go away quietly instead of firing her.

Either way after O’Neill had incurred her wrath she effectively hindered O’Neill’s and the FBI’s investigation. She at first wanted them to turn in their weapons if you can believe that. O’Neill refused, and rightly so. Yemen has been and still is home to Al-Qaeda. She then put limits on the number of security personnel and investigators that O’Neill could have in country at one time. She also refused to find a place for O’Neill's team to stay at during the investigations. Bodine demanded that she be the Gatekeeper between the FBI and the Yemeni government. The FBI had to write their questions down, and then present them to the Yemeni to give to the terrorists to answer. Then the terrorists would give their written answers back to the Yemenis officials who in turn would delete from the answers what they did not agree with, and then give the censored answers back to the FBI! In short she wanted to be in charge of everything. To O’Neill's credit he overcame just about every obstacle that she threw at him, infuriating her even more. But he could not overcome her connections President Clinton, and her support for the Yemeni Regime. And in the end O’Neill and America lost out to a power hungry and insecure ambassador.

So the Clinton administration made the regrettably mistake in choosing her to support, instead of the FBI. That decision coupled with Bush’s decision later on to let President Saleh’s Political Security Organization to head the investigation would effectively ruin any chances at preventing 9/11. And yes there was no sharing of information between the FBI and the CIA which only made matters worse. O’Neill had tried to overcome even this hurdle, but to no avail. Other FBI agents would fail in their efforts as well to get the CIA to share the much needed information.

O’Neill had fought to improve the FBI’s resources and capabilities to fight terrorism. It would not be until June of 2001 that the CIA and the FBI sat down together to discuss the Cole Case and what information each agency had.With-in weeks of the FBI’s arrivals in Yemen they pressured the Yemeni government to arrest a Yemeni by the name of Fahad al-Quso from a wealthy family. But unfortunately the FBI would not learn just how important Al-Quso was to the overall big picture until it was to late. And why? Because Ambassador Bodine was complaining to her bosses, and President Clinton. And after about a month of Bodine badmouthing him, O’Neill returned stateside. And when he tried to return back to Yemen, Bodine said no, with the backing of the State Department. And not long after that the rest of the FBI team left Yemen too. And Al-Quso would not be questioned again until a few days after 9/11. And then he would go on to tell the FBI that he was a bagman for Al-Qaeda, that both Alhazmi and Almidhar had been at the Malaysia meeting where both the Cole attack and the 9/11 attack had been planned. And that some of the Cole bombers also worked on the 9/11 attack. One of those other terrorists at that meeting in 2000 was Tawfiq bin-Atash who worked both attacks.

The story of FBI Agent John O’Neill and his search for the truth into the attack on the USS Cole is one of the most interesting and tragic stories one can ever read. One post cannot come near to doing that story justice, and or O’Neill's and other agents efforts at obtaining the truth. I received a letter in February of 2001 from an individual who told me just how hard they had tried to get the truth of the USS Cole attack. That letter alluded to all the “politics” involved not only between the America and Yemen Governments, but between different departments and certain individuals too with-in our own government. It was after I received that letter that I began to write members, and the President as to why nothing was being done on the Cole Investigation. Before that I had been calling politicians and asking why nothing was being done. I have also read several times where Agent O'Neill felt that they(the FBI) had not done enough for the victims families. And that even early in his career he was trying to tell anyone who would listen that enough was not being done in the counter terrorism department. Others who worked with him and knew him said that one of his biggest fears is that they the FBI would miss something in a investigation, and that Americans would pay for it. He was dead right in more ways than one.

In August of 2001 the FBI conducted an internal investigation into Agent O’Neill for misplacing a brief case with highly confidential papers. It was later found out that the brief case had been stolen by thieves involved in a series of hotel robberies. It was reported that none of the documents were missing when the brief case was recovered. But O’Neill's career had been damaged by the stolen brief case. O’Neill's friends and supporters, and even some who disliked him, but still respected him say that it was all a smear campaign to discredit him. That he had made some very powerful enemies in his demands that the Cole case have a proper investigation.

O’Neill’s last act at of work on his last day at work was to sign the order which would return the FBI back to Yemen to begin work on the Cole Case again. He also sent an email to the father of one of the murdered sailors before he left his post. After that he then retired from the FBI and went to work for Kroll Associates in the World Trade Center as Head of Security on 9/11. It was his first day at his new job according to some reports. And of course he was killed along with over two thousand more Americans when Al-Qaeda attacked. The attack that many believe could have been prevented if Agent John O’Neill had been allowed to conduct a proper investigation with-out a petty and egotistical bureaucrat by the name of Barbara Bodine trying to protect her turf. Instead her actions contributed to a massive communications failure that resulted in the 9/11 attack.

The people who knew him best, his family, friends, and fellow agents all speak how he was the best one to have accomplished that job. And many of them, and including myself are dumbfounded how politics prevented the FBI from saving the lives of thousands of Americans, including his own. Not to mention that the Cole Case could have been resolved as well.

And what happened to Barabara Bodine? She was later given a promotion by President Bush! She was given a position as the Coordinator for Central Iraq in charge of Baghdad. She was later fired from this position for the same types of behavior that she had displayed in the Cole investigation. And now to my understanding she is teaching at a liberal college, and giving lectures on why she acted the way she did as Ambassador to Yemen.

A good friend of O’Neill related a conversation they had over the phone after he had taken the job at the World Trade Center. This friend told O’Neill that “at least they will not bomb it again!” to which O’Neill replied “ They will probably finish the job.” Unfortunately he was right again.

Father of Murdered Sailor Fights Political Correctness

Jesse Nieto who's son was killed in the Al-Qaeda sneak attack on the USS Cole in 2000
is fighting back against Political Correctness. Jesse put somestickers on his vehicle that has offended the senses of those who think and demand that we all kneel down and accept Political Correct Language and Behaviors. The stickers just state the truth. But Liberals and their PC Police cannot stand the truth, and either call it by a different name and or ignore it. You know how they insist on calling a janitor a "maintenance engineer", a sales man/woman is a "counselor", a terrorists is a "resistance fighter", a suspect wanted by the police is a "person of interest", I mean the PC police have a an important name for everyone! They believe that by changing the name of a distasteful title makes the persons self esteem increase! And lets not forget their name for convicts, its now "resident".

I could go and on but you get the point. Liberals hate the truth. Was it Islamic terrorists that bombed the Cole? Yes. And bombed us on 9/11? Yes. Was it Christians? No. Homosexuals? No. Yet he was told to remove the stickers or he could not drive his car on post.

Instead he chose to fight back! Good for Jesse and the lawyers that are fighting for him and his rights to express himself, and what happened on 10/12 and 9/11. I hope they find the idiot who is behind all this and make it public. And more importantly that he or she gets some consequences for trying to tell Jesse and other American how not to express their anger, and the truth.

If only more Americans would stand up to these idiots we could could all live with a little more freedoms. And why do Liberals insist on being called Liberals anyway? When in fact if they were in charge America would be like one big concentration camp with a whole new language, and many less freedoms. Call them for what they are. Communists. Who want us all to be the same way in every thing we do or say. No independent thinking and or behavior for Gods sake! Oh! And no God either.

Conviction of Al-Qaeda Propagandist Terrorist

I will remember November 3rd 2008 for as long as I live. It was the day that I was able to sit in a courtroom and come face to face with an Al-Qaeda terrorist. One of the deranged individuals that make up Bin Ladens army of radical Islamic terrorists. The terrorist who goes by the name Ali Hamza al-Bahlul. He produced a video that celebrated the attack on the USS Cole that claimed the life of our son. Fireman Gary G. Swenchonis, Jr.

The video was made for two main reasons, the first to recruit more people into Al-Qaeda to kill more innocent people, and of course to celebrate the murders of innocent people. Where fanatics and other people with twisted minds could get off at the images of bloodshed in that video. It was the first time that I have felt a sense of relief and peace since our sons murder, when I heard that he would be sentenced to life in prison for his aiding and abetting Al-Qaeda. My wife expressed that same feeling later on that night over supper.

I am reluctant to use the proper words that define the psychological definitions one feels when their work has been vindicated. Such as the cathartic effect, 8 years of pent up emotions being released. Obtaining some closure on an extremely painful memories. I went to school for psychology and became a counselor. But as the years went by I saw quit a bit of the "trade lingo' put to use by the far left liberals to justify irresponsible behaviors in criminals. As if such behavior can ever be justified. So in short I now attempt to refrain from my old work language since its been usurped by the left, and over used by everyone and their dog. Words that were reserved for real psychological suffering are now used to describe the frustrations when one breaks a finger nail.

But feel good it did! And it felt right as well. After the attack on the USS Cole the resulting investigation was stopped dead in its tracks by Ambassador Bodine to Yemen, and President Clinton. And then Bush swept the whole affair under the carpet upon taking office. The Cole investigation would languish in obscurity for another 6 years till enough pressure was brought to bear on the Bush Administration to do something for the Forgotten Cole attack. The Cole attacked highlighted and still does the major mistakes of two presidents, and our other leaders in the war on terrorism. To be blunt there was no war. Bin Laden was allowed to run amuck for years while Clinton and then Bush did nothing but make empty threats. Until, that fateful day of 9/11. When all the glaring mistakes of two presidents in not dealing with Bin Laden exploded upon our nation and the world too. In the form of hijacked airliners crashing into buildings. Killing thousands of Americans. And then not a word about those mistakes.

Not a word about the Cole Attack. And all the warnings for 9/11 that were just waiting to be picked up in Yemen after the Cole attack. Because the FBI were told they not could press Saleh of Yemen by Clinton. It might offend him! And whats unbelievable is much of this information was there on the net before 9/11. I actually had some FBI agents ask me where I was getting my information. That thought and where it leads is and was scary. I told them that I got it off my Top Secret TV WebNet Machine! No I am not joking. One agent took offense to that. He was the only one though. He then later on went to write letters about how I should be ashamed of myself for not believing in our presidents, and to just get over it. To do something constructive! I was. I was researching and making contacts with people who had information. It was and is a slow process.

I have some serious physical problems that I have to contend with. Most of the other FBI agents were all supportive of us, and our goals. Off the record of course. Some of their private letters were extremely encouraging to me and my wife at the time. And still are. It demonstrates to me that even though Clinton and Bush were wrong to ignore and forget the Cole attack, that there were and are still good people in our government who wanted justice for the murders of the 17 sailors. And I had more than one government person tell me that we would all live to regret Clinton and Bush's mistakes of interfering with, and effectively stopping the Cole investigation because the Dictator Saleh would get angry.

It took no Rocket Scientist at the time before 9/11 to know that Bin laden's next attack would be the Big One. He had followed the Guerrilla Warfare 101 by the Book. And he succeeded too. Its a shame that no-one read that book to Clinton and Bush.

So I had all that frustration like some other Americans who knew that it was only a matter of time before we got hit big time, especially after the Cole. Plus I had the emotional part where our son and his murder had been forgotten by the government that he had taken an oath to serve and to protect. And I had to watch my son's mother go through emotional hell, and be powerless to help. It was bad enough that her boy was murdered, but add insult to injury by a government that she actually believed in, just turned their backs on her and her murdered son.

It Was at times very difficult to bear to say the least. It was a good feeling to see my son's mother cry that night, but with tears of a different meaning. I think that trial not only began the process of setting the Cole attack, and the murders of the 17 sailors right, but it also restored a little of my wife's faith back in her government, and people in general as a whole. As for myself, I know that it took an enormous effort on the part of those who care about justice for the victims and their families to pull that trial off. That successful trials of murderers, be they terrorists or just your garden variety murderer here in American only becomes more difficult with each passing day.

And any lawyer worth their salt today will tell you that its not about right or wrong anymore in the courtroom. Its about who makes the most mistakes in the courtroom, and or out of it. And I got to witness the lawyers who represented our son and his mates conduct an excellent case to the jury, and the judge. And then I got to speak for my murdered son.

I wish I could have said more about him, and what he believed in. That he was not perfect. But he loved life, and he had a whole future just waiting for him to live it, and with us to share it with. And then a fanatical bunch of twisted and sick psychos who never even had met our son decided to end his life and his future, and a big part of our future too.

And that's what that video represents really. The Destruction of 17 Human Beings Dreams. And even more than that too really. It promotes the destruction of human life which is so fragile to begin with, just because the people in question do not believe in the same God as they do. And that is what is so ironic and painful to me as well. We brought both our children up to respect all religions, that it was and is an individual choice if a person becomes religious, and or spiritual. And to respect that choice. And to respect those who do not believe in God as well. And our son did.

And then to have him murdered by religious nuts was another blow to us. But we know that those who killed him do not represent all of Islam and its teachings, and I like to think are a minority of the larger and more peaceful group who believe in Allah.I have come to know many Yemenis and they are some nicest people I have met. And many have been very helpful to me in our quest for justice. And many more have offered their support and assistance in helping us to rid Happy Yemen of the Dictator Saleh. We look forward to working with them for the same common goal. That Saleh will not be allowed to wreck anymore young peoples, and or any Yemenis dreams ever again. And November 3rd 2008 was for our son Gary and his 16 mates. And their families.

It was so rewarding, and so refreshing that the real victims were recognized that day in court, and that the criminal actually got what he deserved for a change. I doubt very seriously if we will ever see that again. The terrorist friends and supporters grow stronger in America every day. How they sleep at night is beyond me.And in my book they are 10 times worse than the terrorist themselves.

At least the terrorist like Al-Buhlul had the guts to come out and state his objective. And that is too kill more Americans and Jews. But these radical liberals hide their true agenda under their so called altruistic and humanitarian goals. And that agenda is the destruction of Traditional American Values. So yes. The trial was a major victory for us in more ways than one.

I don't know how many people told me that our efforts were useless. That we would fail. That the Cole Attack was too political. The politicans would never let it see the light of day again. And for years I had my own doubts as well. And still do, knowing politics, and human behavior.

And once again, a thank-you to all the bloggers, to those who wrote and signed petions, who took the time for a quick email to their senators, and congresspeople, and to everyone who has helped us.

And of course thank-you to all the politicians who had the courage to begin to tackle some of the mistakes that were made in the attack on the USS Cole.

And we as the parents of Gary G. Swenchonis, Jr who believed in his leaders will never stop in our efforts to have the rest of our leaders believe in him and his mates by taking the necessary action to finish correcting the mistakes made after that attack.

We Honor and Remember the Beirut Barracks Bombing

I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news back in 1983 that 241 American Service Members had been killed in a suicide attack in Beirut. I heard it on one of the only three channels that we had back in the day. Cable had not yet gotten to our street. I was stunned, and my wife as well. We always made it a habit to watch the evening news on one of the big three channels with our kids.

And now sad to say 241 people killed is a spit in the bucket these days. And no I am not implying that those 241 Americans were and are not important. Their deaths are really even more important today, over 25 years later. Their cold blooded murders should remind the liberals in this country and all over the world that terrorism is a disease. And that disease has only gotten worse in our world with the passing of time.

So for those 220 marines, 18 sailors, and 3 soldiers and the families they left behind, we just want y'all to know that some of us have not forgotten the sacrifice of your loved ones.

And whats even more important now is that the families of those killed won two major lawsuits against Iran in 2007. Did they actually receive the money? I need to research that still. I hope they did. But then again I know how our politicians treat victims of terrorism, so I have my doubts.

And just last week the nutcase Gaddafi's of Libya was supposed to have finished paying off the families of the lockerbie bombing. But there are conflicting reports that he is still dragging his feet. Even after Bush Boy rewarded him by taking his regime off the list of countries that support terrorism.

And now we have Obama who believes that all he has to do is sit down at the table with the leader of Iran, and terrorists groups like Hezbollah and get their word that they will be good boys and girls from now on! And many different security agencies from many nations now agree that the bombing of the marine barracks in 1983 was Hezbollahs first major terrorist attack. Yet we still have airheads in this country who believe that if we just give them what they want, they will leave us alone.

It a shame that our leaders at that time decided not to take Hezbollah out, and Iran too for all that matter. But as always they acted on the side of caution, and here we are with both Iran and Hezbollah even stronger and bigger than they were 25 years ago. And Iran will have nukes in about two years. Like I said, terrorism is a disease. Unless we get some leaders with some real courage, we can only expect terrorism to keep growing and growing. Which means more innocent Americans murdered in even larger numbers than 1983 and or 2001 on 9/11.

Welcome! The Forgotten USS Cole Attack

Its been 8 years now since the attack on the USS Cole in Port Aden, Yemen. At the time of the attack the Clinton administration decided not to take any action at all. The National Election for the President was in full swing. Don't get me wrong, Clinton promised me that he would. I was sitting right in front of him as he made that worthless promise at the memorial for the murdered sailors. But then again he had made the same promises after all the other attacks on his watch. And did nothing.
My wife and I heard one remark about the Cole attack on the news. Nothing else. How odd for an attack that was the prelude for the 9/11 attack less than one year later. An attack that was forgotten by two administrations. Where it would take nearly eight years for the families to be notified that suspects had been officially charged for the attack. How for 8 years after that attack President Saleh of Yemen would be rewarded for stopping the FBI from conducting a proper investigation, and still continues to receive money, weapons, assistance from America. Even though he let some of the killers go, and gave reduced sentences to others who had only gotten a slap on the wrist in the first place. President Saleh Lied to Bush numerous times. The press here in America had a field day with it too. But Bush still supports his old friend. But then Saleh lied to Clinton as well, and made him look like a fool too. Even though it was later proven in court that members of his government helped with the attack, none were punished. But then again none of the our own incompetent politicians who made disastrous mistakes after the Cole attack were punished either.
The long list of lies and cover-ups is way too long for one post. Its my intent to place on this site a profile and picture of all the major players who attacked the USS Cole. And the Presidents and politicians here in American who did nothing for the murdered sailors, the 39 wounded, and their families.
My wife and I along with many other Americans and Free Yemenis will continue our fight for our government to stop its support of the Dictator of Yemen, to and bring to justice those responsible for the attack on the Cole. And to give to the murdered sailors the same honors that were given to the military men and women who were killed by Al-Qaeda less than one year later on 9/11.
My wife and I are not asking for government money. We only want the truth, and the respect that those murdered sailors deserve from our leaders. Our lawyers won a lawsuit in Federal Court over one and a half years ago. We would like our government to stop making it so hard for small groups of victims of Terror Attacks to claim and to receive monetary justice. Other small groups of victims of terrorist attacks deal with the same problems in the legal system that we do. The terrorists and those who support them have more rights than the victims. That needs to change.
Its our hope that the Judiciary Committee will resolve some of these problems when they convene this coming year. God knows its been long over due.
